The firm, born in 1988 as an engineering consulting company, has evolved specializing in the field of public works innovation.
Our field of activity is the implementation of the permanent load transfer system (STPC).
The system is based on joints between concrete slabs capable of shear transfer.
After reaching the permanent load transfer between concrete slabs, we can reduce the size of the slabs getting a substantial decrease in the maximum tension supported by the slab and allowing the designer to reduce its thickness.
This joint has been protected by patents since its inception in 1998. Since then, FAROBEL activity has focused mainly on innovation and development of this product.
